Another one of the fireworks shot of last summer here in Scheveningen. Perhaps the most beautiful. It seems to get a bit of attention anyway. I printed it on metallic paper, which gave the colors an enormous boost, making the photo appear (almost) three dimensional. This is the photo that will displayed at the exhibition at the Public Library here in The Hague, starting tomorrow afternoon. Go see the real thing when you can ;)

This photo has also been printed in a Dutch photo magazine (Fotografie F+D) thanks to my photoclub (HAFV). My first! (And probably my last :D)

Thanks for the tip! I downloaded it from the TV West archives. This pic also made the local newspaper (AD Haagsche Courant). I'm famous! For 15 minutes, right?!

I think if you go on with things like this you will be famous for a lot more minutes;p

Just curious, did they printed it in colour on the AD haagsche courant?

Better late then never, sorry. But yes, it was printed in color.

And famous? Pfft, I don't have time to be famous. I don't even have time to go out and take photos. Last pics I took are for the insurance company to show the waterdamage to our house.

Amazing colors! Such a great shot! That's exactly how the fireworks should look like :)

It took some practice. Good thing is that there was still a bit of light which makes the blue background and makes the color. Much prettier then a black night sky
